In this issue the Product Spotlight Audio Interiors @ the Coastal Home Gallery in Morehead City, Carteret County serving, Craven, Pitt, Onslow counties would like to introduce an innovative new product the SD1 SolidDrive.
The SD1 SolidDrive can be used on almost any solid surface turning that surface into a speaker.
Hows does this SD1 work you ask? Using powerful patent-pending technology this SD1 converts audio signals into vibrations which in turn transfers to the solid surface. Turning walls, ceilings, floors, window, mirrors counter tops, conference room tables and other types of furniture into speakers? Yes that is possible and the sound that it delivers is excellent because it uses the entire surface to project sound.

The SolidDrive technology can be used in many different applications such as “in-wall” or “in-ceiling”, non-porous surfaces and porous surfaces like wood and other types of furniture. With the benefit of being invisible no speakers no wires giving you the option of including sound to problem areas.

For vertical or horizontal installations the SD1g is used for non-porous surfaces and is attached using an adhesive disc.

The best thing? These “speakers” are totally invisible.

There is also a portable option, the SD1 Desktop SolidDrive Kit. Which can be used on top of any horizontal surface, like a desk in a office. A rubber pad grips on the surface and can be used on glass, granite, metal, wood, ceramics, laminates and composites.

The SolidDrive can also be used in home theater installations. The RockSolid using 2 SolidDrives allows you to enjoy sound outdoors. The RockSolid has no grill holes like conventional rock speakers.

All parts are made of high strength materials and carries a 7-year warranty. Due to the permanent install for in-wall and in-ceiling applications you can be sure that with a friction free environment and parts that will not wear, this is a very tough and maintenance free product.
